The college Imparts teaching in the following Subjects in +3 Degree Course :
+3 ARTS STREAM :

Compulsory Subject: M.I.L (O), English, Indian Society and Culture, Environmental Studies, Population Studies/Computer Application.
Pass Subject: Pol. Science, History, Education, Economics, Philosophy, Sanskrit & Odia.
Hons Subject: Pol.Science, History & Education.
Elective Subjects: Indian Economy, Indian Polity, Landmark in Indian History, Education, Philosophy, Sanskrit.

+3 SCIENCE STREAM :

Compulsory Subject: M.I.L (O), English, Information Technology, Environmental Study, Indian Society & Culture.
Pass Subject: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Botany & Zoology.
Elective Subject:
1. Major Elective: Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics.
2. Minor Elective: Biology & Mathematics.

Course Structure for +3 Streams :

The Course structure for 3 years of +3 Degree Course consists of examination every year.
+3 Degree Arts (Pass): The Course structure and mark distribution for B.A Pass shall be as follows.

English - I - 100 English - II - 100 Ind.Society & Culture = 100
MIL/Alt. Eng - I - 100 MIL/Alt.Eng - II - 100 ES = 50 PS/CA = 50
Pass A-1 = 100 Pass A-3 = 100
Pass A-2 = 100 Pass A-4 = 100 Elective B-1 = 100
Elective A-1 = 100 Elective A-2 = 100 Elective B-2 = 100
Total Mark = 500 500 400

A Pass student shall offer one pass subject of 400 marks in addition to compulsory and elective papers. Each student shall offer two elective subjects.
Each elective subject shall consist of two papers each carrying 100 marks.
Subject with practical component shall have 75% theory and 25% practical.
+3 Degree Arts (Honours):
Mark distribution for B.A (Honours) shall be as follows.

A Candidate in B.A (Hons) shall offer an Honours subject carrying 800 marks and two elective subjects besides compulsory subjects. Each elective subject shall consist of two papers each carrying 100 marks. Subject with practical component shall have 75% theory and 25% practical.

A Candidate (Hons or Pass) shall choose two elective subjects, each carrying 200 marks (without any practical components) from among the following subjects or other subjects that may be decided by the University according to suitability. Provided that a student (Hons or Pass) offering Political Science, Education, History, as one or more pass or Hons Subject (S) shall not be allowed to take Indian Polity, Indian Economy, Land Marks in Indian History, respectively as his/her elective paper (s) respectively.

+3 Degree Science (Pass) :

The Courses structure and mark distribution for B.Sc. (Pass) shall be as follows.

A Candidate in B.Sc. (Pass) shall choose two pass subjects each carrying 400 marks besides compulsory and Elective Papers. Subject with practical shall have 25% Practical and 75% Theory. There shall be two Electives. One major carrying 200 marks with two papers of 100 marks each and one minor carrying 100 marks.
Minor Elective Papers :- In Science both (Pass & Hons) a student of life science ( Botany and Zoology ) pass or Honours shall take one minor Elective paper on "Mathematics for Biology" carrying 100 marks where as the other students of ( Physical Science ) shall take "Biology for Physical Science" as Minor Elective carrying 100 Marks.

A B.Sc (Pass) student shall choose one subject as Major Elective from among the following subjects or other subjects (s), to be decided by the University according to suitability and availability of subjects in the college, carrying 200 marks with two papers of 100 marks each (without any practical components). Provided that a student (Hons or Pass) offers any of the Subjects like Life Science, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics as Honours or Pass shall not be allowed to offer corresponding subject as a major elective paper.

In +3 Arts/+3 Science Pass subject (s) with practical and carrying 400 marks following distribution of marks shall be made.

Paper I = 75 (Theory), Paper II = 75 (Theory), Paper III = 50 (Practical), Paper IV = 75 (Theory), Paper V (Theory) = 75 and Paper VI (Practical) = 50. And the distribution of papers shall be made accordingly so as to confirm the year-wise mark distribution as envisaged in the regulation 7.1. Elective subjects shall, not carry any practical component. A Candidate shall be allowed to choose "Odia" or "Alternative Sanskrit" in lieu of M.I.L.
